i thought itd be a cool idea for all the people on the board to do renditions of spoon songs and post them up here for everyone to hear. just for fun or whatever. waht made me thought of this is because i was just fucking around with "I Summon You" on the piano the other day and decided to record myself doing it. i liked how it turned out so i added some harmonies and crap. the funny thing is i didnt even listen to "I Summon You" as a reference, so the lyrics are all gibberish and the arrangement is totally wrong, but other than that i think its not bad. heres the link: www.angelfire.com/ar3/legs

i love your gibberish. the other song there 'This Place' is by your band im guessing? It's very good, you guys sound a bit like Incubus, although i'm not a big fan of em. i finished and posted my version of 'i summon you'!
it's nowhere near as good as mr. pro robot guy's, but hey, it's the effort that counts, right? oh and just a sidenote: being a girl and all, it's tough to sing in the key britt usually sings in, so i did this song with the same chords, just with a capo on 2 so i could sing it in a higher key. and i added a little percussion just for kicks. hope you enjoy! click here to listen. edit: i messed up the link address...
